Glass Museum, Conches-en-Ouche
Harmoge created the permanent museum fit-out as part of the transformation of the Conches-en-Ouche EHPAD into a Glass Museum.
The fit-out included modular horizontal and vertical display cases in extra-clear 5.5.2 laminated glass, equipped with heavy-duty hinges and security locks. The back side is made of epoxy-coated steel panels with provisions for attaching threaded rods to support tempered glass shelves. In the upper part, a sliding technical compartment houses LED strips that illuminate the lower part through a diffuser glass. They also include technical compartments for passive humidity control. These display cases present an upper and lower structure in MDF with a water-based lacquer finish.
The free-standing display cases are made of tubular steel and epoxy steel sheet cladding base, with extra-clear 5.5.2 laminated glass with one opening door and security lock. We included the technical compartment to house silica gel for passive humidity control.
The bases without glass protection for displaying objects are made of epoxy powder coated steel frame and cladding.
The tables we realized consist of tubular structure and epoxy-coated steel sheet cladding to support extra-clear 5.5.2 laminated glass display cases, as well as a large display case that opens onto epoxy steel profiles, secured with safety screws.
The backlit supports for the historic stained-glass panels are made of epoxy-coated steel sheet.
We also produced signage with folded steel sheet signs with an epoxy finish, graphics on CNC-milled aluminium, water-based painted MDF panels with direct four-colour printing and milled aluminium sheet small columns with an epoxy finish to support graphics.
